Hi All!

Glad to see some early interest in the reunion. We will be having some fun this summer for sure!

Seattle will be a great place to visit in July!

Know that reunion reservation for the hotel and events will be done a month or three prior, so just hold on and that information will be up in a few months. You do not need to make your own hotel reservation, that will all be done vai MLRS as in the past.

Hope to see a lot of people there!!!!!

Take care,

Dennis

Thanks Dennis for getting the Deck Log up and running. Your computer knowledge astounds us old folks. We are planning to be in Seattle and now our additional Canadian Rockies trip is starting to take form. We hope to join Bob and Gail McCabe in Calgary and take the northern route through Banff, Lake Louise and the Ice Fields, spend two days on the train and travel through the Rockies and come back down to Vancouver. We will actually spend 7 nights in various hotels. Again, we are not putting together a group but if you are interested in this type of trip, go to Rocky Mountaineer.com and then get in touch with us. We are waiting another month or two to make our reservations but we do plan to take the additional vacation, God willing. Looking forward to Seattle and the reunion. Hi Jim,

Ah, it is nothing and I am slow at getting stuff done as of late. I am glad folks enjoy the site.

Your trip sounds like great fun. I wish we could go but, well Ruby was laid off from the company at which we both work(ed) and so vacation time will be hard to get when she start working again.

But we’ll be at the reunion for sure!!!!

It is going to be a lot of fun!

Take care,

Dennis

Dennis, My wife & I are planning on attending the Friday evening event and breakfast Sat. Have other commitments on Sat evening & Sunday. Planning on getting a room for Friday night. Would like Friday's event to be at the hotel if possible. Looking forward to seeing shipmates. Thanks for your dedication to the England and Sailors!

Hi Marty,

Great to hear that you will be there. So will I! Not sure if I will drive up with the truck and maybe hit some traisl or what though.

Please fill out and send in the survey: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=160

That will help get everything squared away.

Take care,

Dennis

Need to start making plans for this summer, parents 50th anniversity and this reunion. Will benefit by paying for plane tickets early, haven't seen registration form on england website, want to make sure it's a definite go, not canceled because of lack of participants. I'll go, who else is coming? Count me as number 1, who's second? Third? so on

The reunion is 100% a go! I am told the response to the survey was great and based on that, we can assume this reunion might be one of the best! Seattle has a lot to offer us and the final details are being worked out!

I will check with MLRS about the packets but expect them to be along soon.

I am going to figure out my travel in the next week or so.

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone who will be in Seattle by Wednesday would be interested in getting together for a tour to Mt. St. Helens. It is an all day trip and it is best if six people ( 3 couples) sign up. The cost is just under $120.00 per person. We could go either Thursday or Friday since the Turner Joy doesn't interest me and my wife very much.
