At the business meeting at the 2009 USS England Reunion in Seattle, Washington it was decided by majority vote to have the next reunion in St. Luis, Missouri in June.

More information will be provided as it becomes available. Please start planning now the this event and please, come out to Missouri and have some fun with your shipmates and friends!

That is a great idea having the re-union in St. Louis. But what would be the chances of having it in the Midwest like Texas san Antonio to be exact see if all the other guys can chew on that for awhile Thanks.

At each reunion the attendees participate in a business meeting and decide via democratic process where to have the next reunion. For at least the last two reunions, San Antonio has made it onto the short list but lost out in the vote process.

So, basically the best way to get the reunion in the city you’d most like is to attend the reunion and get the group to vote for it!

I am sure San Antonio will make it on of these times soon.

Dear Shipmates, the USS England Reunion 2011 Planning is now ahead full! Now that I am not looking for a job, I have time to push on this for a bit! I had a long teleconference with the city travel people in St. Louis today, very helpful and should have some quotes from hotels in the next few days. Woo hoo!

No one volunteered to head up the whole thing. I believe Mr. Keller volunteered to assist. I will be contacting him to ask about the quality of the hotels that are now bidding on us.
